In this episode, Pastor Snook teaches on how a church can truly move forward by looking back to the model of the early church in Acts 4–5. He highlights three essentials: powerful prayer, genuine purity, and clear purpose.

The early believers depended on bold, God-centered prayer—not for comfort, but for courage—and were filled with the Holy Spirit as a result. Their unity and generosity reflected hearts transformed by Christ, while the sobering account of Ananias and Sapphira reveals God’s seriousness about sin and hypocrisy within the church. When purity was restored, God’s power moved freely, leading to growth, unity, and many lives changed.

Ultimately, the church flourished because it was spiritually healthy—committed to prayer, holiness, and the mission of the gospel. This sermon challenges believers today to pursue the same spiritual atmosphere so God can work powerfully in and through His church.
